The Panorama Panthers Cross Country Teams headed to Greenfield this past Monday with two incomplete teams for both the boys and girls.

The Panthers headed to Greenfield for the Nodaway Valley Cross Country Invitational and fielded five runners with the boys and girls teams combined. With the Panthers fielding incomplete teams they were unable to earn points in the meet.

For the boys team sophomore runner Ryan McCarthy posted a 22:13 which would good enough to place him in 33rd at the meet and freshman runner Laine Christe ran a 26:31 which put him in 81st place at the Nodaway Valley Invitational. The top time for boys was Doug Berg from Nodaway Valley who ran a 17:58.

For the Panthers girls senior runner Leah Fett posted a 25:32 which put her in 25th place at the meet, senior runner Payton Beckman ran a 26:07 which got her 34th place and rounding out the girls team was sophomore runner Avery Bahrenfuss who ran a 28:42 putting her in 52nd place. The top time for the girls side at the meet was Van Meter’s Clare Kelly who ran a 20:41.

The Panorama Panthers Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams will be looking ahead to their next meet when they head to Jewell to take part in the South Hamilton Invitational today beginning at 5 p.m.
