With the November 2nd city-school board elections coming up, Raccoon Valley Radio is hosting a program for some of the contested local races.

The Special Edition Meet The Candidates In Depth News Magazine will feature contested races on each of the three radio station groups. Candidates running for Greene County School Board, as well as Jefferson and Grand Junction City Councils and Grand Junction Mayor will be on 98.9FM KGRA. Those individuals running for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Perry School Boards and the mayoral race for the City of Adel will be on 1310AM and 99.7FM KDLS. The contested races for Guthrie Center School Board, as well as Guthrie Center and Stuart City Councils will be on 107.9FM KKRF. Additionally, the contested races for Scranton mayor, West Central Valley School Board District 4 and 7 seats, as well as Panorama School Board District 2 seat will be airing as let’s talks starting next week. 

The Special Edition Meet The Candidates In Depth News Magazine will be on the air on Wednesday, October 20th at 7pm and Thursday, October 28th at 1pm. The program will also be on raccoonvalleyradio.com starting Thursday, October 21st until Election Day.
