Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers cross country is running in their state race at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge, with the boys team to compete and Geneva Timmerman running on the girls side.

Timmerman will be making her third appearance in the state race with a 7th place finish in 2020 with a time of 19 minutes and 9 seconds, and in 2019 20th overall with a mark of 19 minutes and 36 seconds. She is currently the number 4 ranked runner in 3A girls cross country, and will be hoping to be towards the top of the leaderboard once again when all is set and done this afternoon.

The boys team is ranked 9th in 3A, putting together some tremendous strides throughout the year. The Tigers have some state experience these last couple of years, finishing 9th as a team in 2020, and will be hoping to tally similar results on the day. Seniors Cooper Greenslade and Quinton Kimrey are both in the state rankings for boys 3A, and will be looking to spearhead the ADM team totals today with hopes of coming in the upper half of the team standings.

Timmerman will be running on the girls side at 2:30 pm and on the boys team at 3:15 pm.
