Caden Duncan is the head coach of the Greene County High School football program as well as being athletic performance coach for all athletes in the district. The coach also encourages athletes to be involved in multiple sports, which many are. He acknowledges schedules are sometimes tight when an athlete is in several sports, but athlete and coach make it work.

“We’re going to have them workout throughout the year and the seasons and continue to make those strength and speed gains. It is hard with kids in multiple sports, and I promote that big time. I want my football players out for at least one other sport, and hopefully two or three other sports. To make that work, we have to work together as coaches and have that common goal and try and create the best athletes we can, and not negatively impact them. I think we’ve done a pretty good job of that and will continue.”

Girls basketball official practice starts this Monday the 8th with all boys’ winter sports practices officially beginning on Nov. 15.
