A recent poll shows the job approval of President Joe Biden is 33 percent among Iowans. 

Iowa’s Third Congressional District Representative Cindy Axne explains why the President’s approval is low with Iowans.

“ And unfortunately, we see too much misinformation about what’s happening. You know, listen, the media has said, Oh, this is taking so long or et cetera, there’s disarray. You know what, folks It takes a minute to regulate policy. It takes a minute to ensure that what we’re actually doing is going to reach the outcomes that are intended.”

Axne says she has a great respect for local media but adds that large media outlets have lacked clarity and spread misinformation about the Biden Administration.
