ADM Tigers girls basketball has now played two games through this season going 1-1, a 51-38 loss to Norwalk and a 50-31 win over Van Meter.

In their win over Van Meter on Tuesday night, the Tigers were able to limit mistakes throughout the night as they only had ten turnovers, and shot 40% as a team, an improvement over the 24% shooting in their game the night before.

Junior Nicole Storck leads the team in scoring through two games with 15.5 points per game. Freshmen Kelli Storck is the leading rebounder with 6 rebounds per game, and Nicole Strock leads the team in assists with 2.5 dimes per game.

The Tigers will be looking to improve their three point shooting in the coming days as they’ve gone 5/34 from downtown the first two games, or 14%. That is a number they will have to improve if they want to post a winning year.

The Tigers will have a very difficult slate next week, when they take on the Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs on the road Tuesday and against Ballard at home on Friday. Both games will be broadcast on the home of Tiger basketball True Country K1079.
