After scoring 33 points in the season opener, a four-point win at Ogden, the Greene County varsity girls’ basketball team has scored just 31 combined points in its last two games, both losses. All three games were on the road and the 1-2 Rams under first year head coach Tori Ogden welcome 1-5 PCM (Monroe) to the high school gym in Jefferson Friday night for the Rams’ home opener for 2021-22.

Early foul trouble, turnovers, and cold shooting have hurt the Rams in the 90-13 loss to Roland-Story and the 55-18 defeat on Tuesday at South Hamilton. The odds are the overall shooting percentage of 21.8% and three point percentage of 15.4% will improve over time, perhaps starting tomorrow night.

It’s a girl/boy doubleheader with both games on KG98 and streamed on www.racoonvalley radio.com. Coverage starts at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 o’clock and the boys to follow.
