Greene County High School wrestlers McKinley Robbins and Nate Black each won individuals titles on Saturday at the Carroll Tiger Invitational. The Rams were fifth among 10 teams and wrestled with four open weight classes.

Robbins, a 2021 State Champion in Class 2A at 120 lbs., won the 132 lbs. title at Carroll with a major decision in the finals over number seven Tyce Ruffridge of Pocahontas Area by a score of 11-2. Robbins is now 15-1 this season and 86-3 for his career.

Black won by major decision in the 160 lbs. title match over Manson-Northwest Webster’s Chrisopher Krueger 12-2. Black improves to 14-2 while handing Krueger just his second loss in 13 matches.

Brenner Gallagher at 138 lbs. and Gavin Scheuermann at 152 both were second. Jacob Harmeier was third at 113 lbs. with Noble Hoyt 170 lbs. and Michael Rumley 220 lbs. both fourth. Gavyn Winters was fifth at 106 lbs. and Crew Conner finished in sixth place at 120 lbs.

The December portion of the schedule is finished for Greene County.
