The Panora City Council wrapped up the year of 2021 with their last meeting on December 13th.

Mayor Pat Parker says the year of 2022 will be a big year for the city of Panora. He describes some of the projects he is looking forward to.

“We look to have a two way street extension, so another access out of a school project probably taking place in 2022. We’re also looking at possible Jackson Street improvements in the community going on. There’s a lot of activities that are going to be going on with the city in 2022. So we look forward to that. And then we’re also looking to see if there’s any grant opportunity that we can address other infrastructure issues within the city. So it will be a busy year for the city.”

The Panora City Council’s next meeting will be January 10, 2022.
