Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls basketball will be back on the court tonight when they hit the road to take on the Eagles of Pella Christian. On the girls side DCG comes in with a 6-3 record and Pella Christian 2-6. On the boys side, DCG is 5-1 and Pella Christian is 6-1 on the year.

In the girls game, this is a series that DCG has had a lot of success in these last few years, with DCG holding an undefeated record at 15-0 since 2013. Mustang hoops is coming off of a tough loss back in December against Johnston, while Pella Christian has lost four straight games. DCG is averaging 55 points per game while only giving up 38 points per game, as they have put up solid work on both ends. If DCG can get out to a fast start tonight, they’ll have a quality shot of picking up a victory.

The boys game is a key conference game early on, with both teams having high octane offenses averaging over 65 points per game, while both giving up under 50 points per game on the defensive end. Mustang hoops has three double figure scorers in senior Cole Glasgow, senior Bo Huston, and senior Jacob Runyan. DCG has won four straight in the series.

Tip times for the girls game will be happening at 6:15 and for the boys game at 7:45 from Pella Christian High School.
