The Nevada Cubs held off a furious Perry rally Tuesday night defeating the Jayettes 43-35 in Heart of Iowa action from Nevada.  The Jayettes trailed 24-4 at halftime and struggled from the floor in the opening 16 minutes.  Perry connected on just 1 of 16 shots in the first half and committed double digit turnovers in falling behind early.  The third quarter proved to be a different story as both Lydia Olejnicak and Jayna Kenney got their offense rolling and powered Perry to as close as five points late in the fourth quarter.  Olejniczak scored a game high 19 points while Kenney added 14.  Maddie Dunham used her size inside to pace the Cubs with 17 points before fouling out.  The senior scored 8 critical points in the fourth quarter to preserve the lead.

Perry falls to 5-6 while Nevada improves to 7-4.  The Jayettes will take on Grandview Christian Friday night.
