The Winter Storm Warning issued for the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area has prompted Greene County School officials to postpone or cancel all activities for today and tonight.

Last night the Greene County Athletics Hall of Fame Open House & Introduction Ceremonies were held at the high school in Jefferson. Originally, the inductees were to receive their HOF plaques tonight in between varsity basketball games with Roland-Story (Story City), but the games are postponed until Thursday, Jan. 27 in Jefferson. The inductees were presented their plaques last night.

Boys 7th and 8th grade basketball for today at Carroll has been cancelled. All activities scheduled for tomorrow at Greene County Community School facilities have been cancelled, which includes Jefferson Elk’s Hoop Shoot, as well as Middle School and Youth volleyball at the Elementary building.
