The Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams have began their seasons again in 2022 and it’s time to look back on what has happened so far in the new year.

The Panthers girls came into 2022 with an undefeated record of of 9-0 on the season after playing an incredible start in 2021. The Panthers have kept their impressive performances up so far in 2022 but they have lost their first game of the season after this past weekend.

For the Panthers girls they have picked up wins so far in 2022 over the Pleasantville Trojans 69-39, Odgen Bulldogs 75-4, Greene County Rams 68-15, Madrid Tigers 69-14 but the game against the Van Meter Bulldogs was postponed due to weather. The Panthers lost their first game of the season this past weekend against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines 55-54 on a last second half court shot. The Panthers girls are 13-1 overall and 9-0 in conference play.

The Panthers boys started their season in 2021 slow with three straight losses but they have since rebounded they are undefeated in 2022 with wins against the Pleasantville Trojans 78-71, Ogden Bulldogs 65-50, Greene County Rams 64-46, Madrid Tigers 69-63 and Nodaway Valley Wolverines 71 -62. The game against the Van Meter Bulldogs was postponed due to weather. The Panthers boys are 9-4 overall on the season with a 6-2 in conference play so far.
