Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys and girls basketball were on the court on Friday night against the Bondurant-Farrar Blue Jays on the road, and the Tigers fell short in both games, as the boys fell 63-45, and the girls 56-51. The girls drop to 7-9 on the year, and the boys move to 6-8.

On the girls side, ADM struggled to find the hoop in the first quarter but got better the rest of the game. The Tigers were able to get 19 points from Claire Greenslade off of five three pointers, and Nicole Storek was able to add 18 points to the tally as well. The Bluejays have a four game winning streak in the series.

Twelve three pointers were the big difference for the Bluejays as they built a 29-15 halftime lead. ADM never got into single digits in the second half, as Bondurant-Farrar had three different players in double figures. Sophomore Brevin Doll lead the way for ADM with 16 points.

For the Tigers, their gauntlet of a schedule will be moving forward on Tuesday night, when both teams will be traveling to the Raccoon River Conference leader in the North Polk Comets. The girls game will be tipping off at 6 o’clock with the boys to follow.
