Friday, May 13th

8:43am: Nikki Henderson reported her Wi-Fi was not working at 100o West Adams Street, #3. She was advised to contact her provider.

8:50am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.

10:10am: Joe Wanninger reported a Lost/Stolen Registration Plate.

6:07pm: Stephanie Bickle reported her juvenile daughter had not come home from school. The juvenile returned home a short time later.

8:07pm: Madeline Delzel reported catching a Stray Dog in the 700 Block of South Elm Street. The officers placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

Saturday, May 14th

1:49am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of East Russell Street.

2:28am: A caller advised of Loud People in the 300 Block of South Maple Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

9:58am: Kris McPherson reported catching a Stray Dog at 620 South Olive Street. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

11:29am: An officer spotted two wanted subjects while on patrol in the 100 Block of East Monroe Street. The officer arrested Makelia Rose Ranee Brown, 21 of Jefferson, and Harvick Nathaniel Beals, 18 of Jefferson. Both subjects had outstanding Jefferson Police Department Arrest Warrants for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/Marijuana – Serious, Intent to Deliver – D Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”

1:15pm: Karyn Parker requested an officer at 204 West Harrison Street for a Civil Child Custody Issue.

2:18pm: Dollar General reported a customer had located a bag of Suspected Narcotics in the parking lot at 104 North Locust Street. The officer took possession of the items for destruction.

3:12pm: Cindy Laube reported finding suspected narcotic items in her residence that belonged to her juvenile granddaughter. Before the officer arrived, the juvenile flushed the items down the toilet. The officer is investigating.

12:59pm: Mike Molle reported a vehicle in the 300 Block of East Washington Street with an extremely loud sound system. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

7:56pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulted in Justin Ehliers of NE. being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

8:19pm: Kurt Oathout reported several chunks of concrete in the roadway on Hwy. 4, near the casino Entrance. The officer located the items and determined the road had blown out and contacted the DOT.

9:50pm: Abby Beadle requested an officer at 302 South Locust Street, as her large dog would not come back downstairs. The officer assisted her in carrying the dog downstairs.

10:41pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1600 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Jacob Lundberg of Des Moines being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

Sunday, May 15th

1:42am: An officer located an Open Door at 1108 North Elm Street. The officer secured the building.

2:20am: George Glasgow reported a known subject had pointed a handgun at him near Walnut & Monroe Streets. The officer is investigating.

7:18am: Cindy Laube reported her juvenile granddaughter had taken her vehicle without permission to do so. The officer is investigating.

11:31am: A caller advised of a Stray Dog near Reed and Maple Streets. The animal returned home before the officer arrived.
