For the second time this season, the Perry Bluejay baseball team played their best baseball against a very good Roland Story team. The Norseman escaped Perry with a 2-0 win at Progressive Field to maintain a first place spot with West Marshall in the conference. Senior Carter Iben was terrific on the mound, pitching 6 2/3 solid innings and containing an explosive offense to just five hits and 1 walk. He finished the night with 6 strikeouts. The Perry offense was quiet once again with Owen Myers, Kaelan Davis and Drake Levan providing the only hits. Perry batters struck out 12 times.
Perry falls to 1-14 on the season and will host PCM tomorrow night at Progressive Field. You can listen to the game on KDLS.
