Tomorrow will be Sunday at the Dallas County Fair and there are still plenty of things left to enjoy on the fair’s last day.

The final day of the fair will include the horse fun show beginning at 9 a.m. in the south arena, 4-H fitting contest at 10 a.m. in the show ring, remote control car races at noon near the entertainment plaza, Bill Riley Talent Show at 1 p.m. at center stage and the 4-H auction running from 1-3:30 p.m. in the show ring.

Dallas County Extension Youth Coordinator Elizabeth Emley says there are still plenty of reasons to come out.

“Our static building will be open all day so fair goers can hop in and take a look at everything that’s moving on to (the) State Fair and all the hard work that kids put in with their static projects and then we have our 4-H auction which is where youth can bring in their market animals. Then finally what I’m sure a lot of 4-H’ers might be looking forward to is getting to go home at 6 p.m. after a very long and hard week of showing off all of their hard work.”

Other activities will include Mr. Nick Balloon Artist near the gazebo, bags tournament at the campground shelter, Lew-E’s Comedy Circus near center stage and farm bureau stories at center stage.

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be live on location from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fairgrounds in Adel providing music and other announcements. You can also find results from the various competitions under the Dallas County Fair tab on raccoonvalleyradio.com
