Coming off a winning season for the first time in 10 years, the players and coaches of the Greene County High School volleyball team are looking to build on that success. One way they are attempting to do just that is by attending the two-day Central College team camp in Pella this week.

Coach Chris Heisterkamp returns a veteran squad including several returning starters and letter winners. Senior Bella Schroeder was named to the 10 member Heart of Iowa Activities Conference first all-conference team in 2021, while senior Katrina Heupel was a second team selection. Senior Natalie Heupel and sophomore Emma Shipley were on the honorable mention all-conference list a season ago. The team was 16-13 overall in 2021 and 4-3 in the conference.
