As we continue looking at the stats recorded by both baseball and softball players for the West Central Valley Wildcats today, we’ll start with junior Ayden Phippen from the baseball team. He played in 2 games, went to the plate once, and reached on error once.

Our last softball player is incoming freshman Lillian Gilbert. She started and played in all 37 of the team’s games, traveling to the plate 111 times, scoring 22 runs and hitting 36 times. Of those hits, 33 were singles, 1 was a double, 1 was a triple, and 1 was a home run.

Gilbert tallied 27 RBI’s, was walked 16 times, hit by a pitch once, reached on error 11 times, and was struck out 11 times. She recorded a batting average of .324, an on base percentage of .414, and a slugging percentage of .378. Gilbert was successful on her steal attempt, had 40 assists, 30 put outs, and recorded a fielding percentage of .886.
