A non-profit organization is hosting its second-ever fundraising event next month in Greene County.

Midwest Behavioral Health and Iowa House Incorporated in Jefferson Owner Megan Ball says they are hosting a 5K on October 1st at Spring Lake Park.

“That 5K is called ‘Both Feet In’ because when it comes to things in life you really got to have both feet in or you usually don’t get very good results. So we thought it was fitting for our 5K, which is a wellness walk or run. We’re really glad we get to promote and use Spring Lake and such beautiful areas here in Greene County.”

Tickets are $40 per person and proceeds will go to Iowa House Incorporated, which is a non-profit that Ball says will help clients that they treat pay for their services if the client is unable to. The 5K will be on October 1st, with check-ins at 8am and the deadline to register is September 29th. Click the link below to sign up online.
