Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball had their season opener on Monday night when they hosted the Norwalk Warriors in Adel. The Tigers were able to find a victory as they were able to win  by the score of 66-44. The Tigers start 1-0 and the Warriors begin the year at 0-1.

ADM was able to get out to a quick start as the Tigers were able to hit multiple threes to begin the game, and were up 11-0 just three minutes into the game and took 14-3 lead after one. After Norwalk cut the lead to 12 at halftime, the Warriors were able to get within 7 late in the third quarter, but ADM was able to pull away in the fourth quarter, as they were able to get some major stops down the stretch as well as some key offensive plays as well.

Senior Nicole Storek was able to lead the way for the Tigers with 26 points.

Tiger basketball will be back on the court tonight when they make the quick trip over to Van Meter to take on the Bulldogs. Tip time is projected to be at 7:15.
