The Adel-Desoto-Minburn School District recently got back performance results and it shows students are learning at a high level within the district.

Superintendent Greg Dufoe says each year the Iowa Department of Education updates new results to an online system called Iowa School Performance Profiles which publishes report cards reflecting the performance of all the public schools. Dufoe notes that the Adel Elementary, Meadow View Elementary and ADM High School were considered to be high performing and ADM Middle School were scaled as exceptional. He expresses that this ranking says a lot about the school district staff.

“It speaks volumes. They have, you know, our leadership team and our teachers and our support staff, because what they do on a daily basis helps us achieve our mission. So it’s really a team effort. And we just seem to be on the same page.”

The ISPP is a rating based on scores from core subject material and the highest rating is exceptional and the second highest is high performing.
