The city of Adel has announced that their snow emergency parking ban is in full effect from now until Friday at 6pm. 

During the Snow Emergency, no person shall park, abandon, or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, alley, or City-owned off-street parking area. The parking ban will enable the Public Works Department to remove snow safely and quickly. Depending on the weather, this ban may be modified.

The city of Adel is also encouraging residents to not put out their garbage till next week or until the morning of the day of pickup due to the expected high winds.
