United Risk Services Agents Jenyse Durham and Diane Hawley say that insurance helps to cover costs when things happen, and that there are many kinds of insurance. Hawley tells Raccoon Valley Radio the best time to get signed up for coverage you may need.

“Someone would typically apply for insurance at the time they purchase a home or business or farmland. But if you’re just looking to move your coverage, it’s smoothest to do that at (a) policy renewal date.”

Durham adds that plans can also differ from person to person, depending on what needs to be covered and how much is being covered in the plan.
