The City of Perry will begin removing debris and trees along the road. 

The City has contracted Walton Tree Service to trim all ash trees in the right of way and alleys for compliance, safety, aesthetics and growth. The main area affected is from 3rd Street west to the city limits. Walton Tree Service will work in one block increments and once an ash tree is removed they will return to grind the stump and fill in the hole. The operation will come at no cost to homeowners. Property owners that have an ash tree on their property and do not want it removed must call the city for additional information.
