Private graveside service for Ruth Laughridge, 71, of Van Meter, will be held at a later date in the Van Meter Cemetery. Friends and
family will be invited to a celebration of life to be held at a later date to be determined. In lieu of
flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made out to the Ovarian Cancer Research
Alliance and/or to the MercyOne Hospice House in Johnston for the wonderful care provided to Ruth.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Larry; two sons, Travis (Jess) and Daniel (Katie); three grandchildren,
Zaiden, Theo, and Jack; along with many siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family.
