Visitation for  Marvin Cecil Welch, 87, of Menlo, will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 17, 2023 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Stuart. A Funeral Mass will follow the service at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the church. The burial will be held in Rosehill Cemetery in Menlo immediately following the service. A luncheon will be held following the burial at the All Saints Catholic Church.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Survivors include:  Daughter Marcy (Doug) Ostrander of Waukee; sisters Iva Mae Howard of Golden, Mo. and Connie Barnhouse of Ankeny; and countless other family members and friends. The family would like to especially thank everyone at Perry Lutheran Homes for their love and kindness to Marvin over the years.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Helen, in 2014; and siblings Lois Fields, Hilda Trent and Bud Welch.
