One Jefferson organization is accepting grant applications for projects.

The Jefferson Rotary Club has $9,500 in grant funds to give to non-profit organizations for programs or projects towards the benefit of education and literacy, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, water, sanitation and hygiene, as well as disease prevention, environmental, maternal and child health, or community and economic development.

These grant funds were made possible from this past fall’s annual fundraiser. According to Jefferson Rotary, they are also using some of the auction proceeds for college scholarships for a total of $6,000 and another $1,500 was given to a new Jefferson Rotary satellite club and retaining funds for an upcoming large community-based project.

Applications must be submitted to Journey Financial at Home State Bank or postmarked and mailed to Jefferson Rotary Club, P.O. Box 105 in Jefferson by March 31st. Click the link below to obtain a copy of the application.
