The Chargers are hitting the track today, as the State track and field meet gets underway. Justin Reinhart competes in the 3200m, Austin Kunkle competes in the 200m dash and 100m dash, Hayden Coffman, Adylyn Benson, Katelyn Schaffer and Ava Campbell are running the girls 4x800m relay, while Gavin Sloss, Tyconder Ellis, Jarrett McClain and Andrew Mahaffey are running the boys 4x800m relay, and to finish off AC/GC events for the day, Tate Fever, Jathan South, Brexton Schneider and Treyton Schneider are running the shuttle hurdle relay. The 200m dash, 100m dash and shuttle hurdle are all preliminary races today, and if the Chargers perform well enough they’ll be able to compete in the finals on Saturday.
