The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Council approved paying expenses incurred by Josh Calmer to fix a sewer line to his business, due to a repair company that installed a liner blocking it, then claimed no fault. City Administrator Lisa Grossman informed the Council that this amount would be added to the list of damages regarding other unsatisfactory work by the same repair company once a final resolution with repairs was available. The Council also approved the first reading to amend an ordinance regarding the electric utility rate recommendations given by Public Financial Management Representative Susanne Gerlach, and the first reading of an ordinance amending the City Code regarding electric utility rates.
