Coach Kyle Stalder’s Greene County High School baseball team is 1-5 on the season and the Rams host 1-4 South Hamiton (Jewell) tonight on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. It’s a JV/varsity doubleheader from Allensworth Field in Jefferson with varsity game time set for 7:30 p.m.

The Rams are looking for their second win of the season and their first on the home diamond. The Rams had just two victories in 2024 and the lone Heart of Iowa Activities Conference win a season ago was at home vs. SH.

The offense has yet to click for Greene County with four of the five losses via shutout. Greene County has scored a total of 12 runs in six games with eight of those in the lone win so far this season and the other four in the Friday night 11-4 loss in State Center to West Marshall
