This weekend will see many older trucks make their way to the city of Casey.

C/10’s in Casey Organizer Dustin Hogueisen says that the event is a gathering for General Motor trucks produced in 1998 or prior, and that it’s similar to a truck or car show, just without the judging. He explains that they welcome everything from work trucks and daily drivers, to full on show vehicles in an attempt to get like minded truck fans together. This is the second year for the event, with 125 vehicles registered last year.

Hogueisen mentions that the event will take place from 9am to 3pm for the come and go activity. He adds that the actual truck show takes place on McPherson Street, and that the Casey Fire Department will be grilling lunch, with the proceeds staying with the department. Businesses that will also be open and serving food include Casey Creamery, Pioneers Pub and Grub, and Tin Lizzie’s. Hoguisen shares that there is also a 50/50 raffle and door prizes for the people that enter a truck. He says that last year, they were able to donate a total of $1,000, which was split between the Greenfield and Casey Fire Departments.
