Jayettes fell in postseason warm up to Boone Thursday 10-2 at Gary Creasman Field.

Perry and Boone met for the first of two times on Thursday.  The two clubs are also scheduled to open Regional play against each other next Thursday.

The Toreadors used a five run first to take the lead in their way to the eight run victory.  The Jayettes got both of their runs in the fourth.  Lillie Hollingsworth singled in Kate Schuttler for the first run.  Harper Peterson drove in the other run on a fielders choice.

Karagyn Whelchel and Schuttler each had two hits.

Schuttler made her first start inside the circle.  The 8th grader took the loss in five 2/3 innings.  She walked five, gave up 13 hits, and was responsible for all ten runs.

The Jayettes fall to 7-11-1.  Perry returns to action Monday hosting Pella.
