
After starting the high school volleyball season last week in a quadrangular vs. three opponents, all preseason ranked by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Greene County volleyball team faces two more challenges tomorrow late afternoon and evening.
The Rams will compete at Ames High School in a triangular vs. Class 3A number 2 ranked Kuemper Catholic (Carroll), as well as the host Little Cyclones, a 5A program. Starting time is 4:30 p.m. in the Harrison Barnes Gymnasium.
The Rams are 0-3 on the young season while the Knights are 3-0 and the Little Cyclones are 4-3. Greene County and Ames are scheduled to play the first match at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
