The AC/GC Chargers hosted the Nodaway Valley Wolverines for week three, and came away victorious with a big 54-0 win.

The Chargers picked up a quick score in the first after stopping the Wolverines, then picked off a pass to go back on the offensive, and finished the first quarter up 14-0. The team picked up another 20 points in the second quarter, with one coming off a goal line rush by lineman Jack Sheeder. Head Coach Cody Matthewson says that the play is one they’ve worked on since the season started, and decided to try the big man rush. AC/GC went into the halftime break up 34-0.

The second half started with the Chargers getting the ball and senior running back Joe Crawford took all of one play to get a 68 yard rushing touchdown. Another score was put in before the end of the third, and AC/GC went into the fourth quarter up 48-0. The team then picked up one more touchdown with the junior varsity squad on the field, and finished the game with the 54-0 win.
