Nadir Ouahbi broke the longest touchdown in Perry history with a 98 yard rush in Friday’s 42-28 loss to Woodward-Granger at Dewey Field on Military Appreciation Night.

As heard on KDLS, the Ouahbi rush gave the Bluejays an early 7-0 lead in the first. The Hawks would score 21 unanswered points and never surrender the lead.

Perry used long TD’s all night to fight their way back into the game.  Phillip Gray returned a kick return for a score.  Ian Fisher connected with Rylan Modlin with a 53 yard passing TD and Michael Bahtagic found Owen Zander in the end zone from 41 yards out.

Bahtagic and Zander each had an interception.

The Bluejays fall to 0-3 and play Thursday night at Des Moines North at Mediacom Stadium.
