The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team concludes the regular season tonight at home against Winterset, as they honor their seven seniors on the roster.
The Tigers, who are 21-8 on the year (6-1 inside the Raccoon River Conference), will face off versus the Huskies, who are sitting at 10-17 overall (2-4 RRC). ADM has seven seniors on the varsity squad, including Anna Holloway, Macy Person, Elise Coghlan, Kendra Smith, Josie Steinkamp, Graci Stumbo, and Paige Krantz. Head Coach Trevor Irwin says that the seven players have put on a Tiger uniform throughout their high school career.
“All of them have been in our program for four years, and the work and dedication that they put in the summer and in the offseason as well, and club season to get better. And then having them all having purposeful roles on our team has really allowed them to show their hard work to their parents and then to the underclassmen as well. So, I’m super super impressed with all the girls and the work that they do there.”
Irwin emphasizes that the seniors are setting the foundation for the future growth of the ADM program. The 13th-ranked Tigers will try to finish the year with 22 regular season wins, as the game starts at 7:15pm from the ADM High School North Gym in Adel.
