Public Celebration of Life for Rani Jane Schaben, 54, of Clive, formerly of Carroll, will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Santa Maria Winery in Carroll.

A private family funeral service will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, 5452 NE 22nd St., Des Moines, Iowa 50313

Rani Schaben is survived by her parents, Paul and Jane Schaben, of Carroll; three brothers, Ryan Schaben of Eagan, Minnesota; Sean Schaben (Pamela Cavanaugh), of Carroll; Thad Schaben (Carmen), of Urbandale; Nephew Colton Schaben of Casa Grande, AZ; Nieces Ciara Jane Schaben of Kawaguichi, Japan; and Emma Schaben of Denver, CO along with many uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
