The AC/GC Chargers cross country teams are setting up for the state meet by holding a qualifier tonight.

The Chargers are one of the host sites for Class 1A State Qualifiers, and Head Coach Rick Blake is excited to be able to have the team run on their home course. He mentions that this is a boon for the team, as it allows them to compete in a familiar setting. There are 19 total teams competing in both the boys and girls races, with familiar opponents like AHSTW, CAM, Exira-EHK, IKM-Manning, Nodaway Valley and Riverside all making the trip to Guthrie Center.
