Adel-DeSoto-Minburn sophomore Elliottte Von Roden recently got local recognition for her incredible contributions to the Girls Cross Country Team.

The Adel Rotary Club honored Von Roden as the ADM Scholarship Foundation student of the month during October. As a freshman, she was the lone representative for the Tigers that qualified for the State Cross Country Meet in 2024, and led ADM this past season as the team placed second at the state qualifying meet in Pella, advancing the whole group to state. 

For the 2025 year, the Tigers notched 11th overall at state in Fort Dodge, as Von Roden garnered 36th overall with a time of 20 minutes and 6 seconds. She is also apart of the ADM Track and Field Team, plus participates in softball during the summer.
