
The West Central Valley Girls Basketball Team has played two games to begin the week, beating Ogden in Stuart on Tuesday 45-26.
The Bulldogs were still looking for their first win, and got a nice start, leading 10-5 following the first quarter. The teams scored a combined 11 points in the second quarter, seeing Ogden hold a 15-11 advantage at the half. However, the Wildcats completely flipped the game in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 34-11 to coast to a 45-26 victory.
West Central Valley defeated Lamoni on Monday and Ogden on Tuesday, with two more games left this week. The Wildcats improve to 4-8 on the year, and the Bulldogs fall to 0-13 overall. Ogden will return home to host Paton-Churdan tomorrow, while West Central Valley will hit the road to battle Glidden-Ralston tomorrow, beginning at 6pm.
