Mustangs varsity basketball welcomes the Indianola Indians to the Meadows Main Gym tonight for a critical conference matchup.

The girls lead off, and they are feeling good as they have won their last eight games, including last time out at the Norwalk Warriors. They staved off a major comeback effort from Norwalk but prevailed in the end, giving the Warriors their first conference loss of the year while the Mustangs elevated their record to 16-2(8-1). The Indians are 11-6(4-3) and are looking for revenge against DCG, as they lost to the Mustangs on their home floor a few weeks ago.

The boys have the nightcap and look to get back on track after a gut-wrenching loss Tuesday night. Norwalk dropped in a buzzer-beater to beat DCG and rip out their hearts in what was a thrilling basketball game. The Mustangs hope to improve on their 8-7(4-4) record. Indianola is 7-7(4-4), and they need to stack up wins to keep pace in the conference.

Tip-off for the girls is scheduled for 6 pm. You can catch the action on KDLS2 and racconvalleyradio.com.
