Greene County and Paton-Churdan’s Spring sports teams have largely been on hold for the past week due to cold, wet, and windy weather. The Rockets had their girls’ and boys’ track & field teams postponed on Tuesday. The girls were to have gone to Southeast Valley in Gowrie and the boys to South Central Calhoun in Lake City.

Greene County was to have sent its girls and boys track & field squads to Panorama HS in Panora for the Kip Janvrin Relays, but that has been cancelled and won’t be made up.

The Rams were to have played boys’ golf north of Ft. Dodge hosted by St. Edmond on Tuesday. There is a makeup date, but the Rams won’t be participating. The girls were to have played golf at Lake City yesterday hosted by South Central Calhoun and a make up date is to be determined. The Rams were to have hosted girls’ soccer Tuesday with Boone and a makeup date is being sought.
