The Panorama Girls Soccer Team played their season opener on Tuesday in Des Moines, coming away with a 10-0 win versus Grand View Christian, as senior Morgan Crees captured five goals.

The Panthers were able to power off to a good start, leading 7-0 at the break, then scored three more goals 16 minutes into the second half to get the 10-0 victory. Other than Crees’ five goals, she had three assists, followed by two goals each from freshmen Kailee Kautzky and Ines Gimeno-Perez, and a goal from senior Karli Kautzky. Panorama sophomore goalie Meredith Arganbright recorded one save on the night.

The Panthers get to 1-0 on the season, while the Thunder fall to 0-1. Panorama will have their home opener tomorrow in Panora against East Sac County, starting at 5:30pm.
