The Stuart City Council met briefly Tuesday night.

The Council held a special meeting, with all members of the Council present, along with City Clerk Sarah Stouffer, and three audience members. They approved the offer of employment and employment agreement for Jalatama “Jolly” Omar as the new Stuart City Administrator. Omar joined the meeting by phone, and shared how excited he and his young family are about being part of the Stuart community.
