The Panora Public Library has many services besides the books for patrons to read.
Library Director Molly Allen says that they have access to the Ancestry Library edition, where people can come to the library and use the site for free with their subscription. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there is also something they are thankful to the Library Foundation for providing funds to get.
“One new thing that we just got, we have a new study pod that is available for people to use. Kind of a private, it’s an additional meeting space for small groups, like small group meetings. There’s a table and chairs in there for up to three people um or for maybe a work meeting, a Zoom call, a phone call, studying, proctored exams, all of those types of things. So we’re very excited to have that additional space available for our patrons and for the public.”
Allen mentions they also continue to provide faxing, copying and printing services. She adds that they also have children’s audio players that are available, which are great screen free learning opportunities for children.
