The Perry Bluejays cross country team claimed their first championship of the season, claiming first place at the Woodward-Granger Invitational. Perry claimed first with a team score of 37 points.

With the warm weather, the races were cut short to two miles for the boys and girls. Lily Myers and Bristol Gittins represented the Jayettes, with Myers claiming fourth place crossing the finish line in 14:57.3 with Gittins behind her in 20:39.5. The Bluejays claimed first with three top five placements, with Ivan Willet taking first in 12:33.6, Hayden Splendor in third in 12:56.8 followed by Edwyrd Steil in fourth crossing in 12:57.

Perry returns to action on Thursday, traveling to Grants Woods Park in Madrid for the Madrid Invite.
