Organizers for Adel’s RVTV stop are looking for nominations for individuals who have made a difference in the community.

Adel will serve as the final stop of WHO 13 TV’s RVTV tour on Friday, September 11 ahead of the Cy-Hawk game. Adel Chamber President Erin Milroy, who is co-chairing the United We Tailgate event, invites local residents to nominate someone who represents the heart, courage and spirit of Adel.

“We will have a hero’s wall recognition for those hometown heroes and community champions at the Raccoon Valley Bank Community House, and so we encourage really everyone who’d like to recognize either a living or deceased individual to fill out a form online, tell us about their hero or come in person and fill out a form that will be on display. We are also going to be having a Nile Kinnick display in that location as well, and we’re just really excited to help represent all of the great facets of the community that day.”

Milroy adds that those heroes might be veterans, first responders, teachers, coaches, volunteers, neighbors, family members, community leaders or simply someone who has made a lasting difference.
