One entity in Greene County invites everyone to join them for a stroll around the community for a good cause.

The Churdan Library is sponsoring one of the Iowa’s Healthiest State Walk on Wednesday, during the statewide initiative. Library Director Shari Minnehan says they are partnering with the Paton-Churdan School District once again, as the walk will take off from the school building and they will loop the community for about 30 minutes, before ending back at the school building.

Minnehan points out that about 160 people participated last year and they continue to host this event as a fun and engaging way for community members and students to interact and do something together.

The walk begins at 12:30pm Wednesday at the P-C school building in Churdan.
