A non-profit group in Jefferson is asking the public to support a worthy cause with a unique fundraiser.

Sierra Community Theatre Manager Sarah Nicholson says they will be showing the classic movie, “9 to 5” starring Dolly Parton October 9th-15th. She states that in the memory of the famous actress and singer, Disney will donate the net proceeds from every US admission ticket from the movie to the Dollywood Foundation and its flagship organization, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which Greene County participates in.

Nicholson adds that the showings during the following week are 7pm Wednesday through Sunday at 2pm matinee on Sunday. The theater is closed Monday and Tuesday.
